GRADING POLICY
Mint M This signifies perfection. We do not use this grade as even new records could have some imperfections.
Near Mint NM Almost perfect. NM covers will have no splits, tears, holes, marks or other flaws. NM vinyl will have no noticeable scuffs or scratching and will play with no distractions.
Very Good+ VG+ Will have some flaws but still in excellent shape. VG+ covers will have minimal marks and wear and have no splitting. VG vinyl will have minimal surface scuffs and light scratching is possible, but it will not distract from the recording.
Very Good VG The VG cover may have light wear and the beginnings of edge splitting. The VG vinyl may have light surface scuffs and scratces that may be detectable during play but do not detract from the listening enjoyment.
Good Plus G+ G+ covers can have noticeable marks, wear and light edge splitting. The G+ vinyl may have surface scuffs and some scratching that is deeper than the VG that may be felt with a fingernail on the surface. Background noise may be detected but will not greatly distract from the listening.
Good G The G cover may have some tearing, marking, wear and edge splitting. The G vinyl may have scuffs and scratches that are noticeable throughout play but will not skip during play.
For LP's we grade the cover first, followed by the vinyl. For 45 and 78 singles we grade the label first, followed by the vinyl. When possible we enter comments such as ink, hole etc for labels. If a 45 has a picture sleeve we provide grading for the PS, label and vinyl.
